imagine if someone were to take him and geld him, that would seem the ultimate back stabbing. sounds like someone has problems with the stallions owner/trainer?

I wonder how much he's insured for....

Penny, I would demand frozen if they have it. They owe you a breeding, period. You can breed whenever, but they owe you that much. I'm so sorry this is such a drama...best of luck with Yeager.

Poor Capone, what a horrible end for a beautiful horse.

I agree. Don't they have frozen semen available?

I'm trying to understand what kind of planning and effort it would take to steal world class breeding stallions from a guarded barn? It's nervy, for sure... I imagine it has to be some sort of inside job, and more than one person... what the heck do you DO with a branded, distinctive stallion everyone is looking for, anyway?

I feel bad for everyone involved, especially the horse.

Yeager's owner was wondering that, too... These people are way too sketch. I have a feeling, though, if the stallion was truly taken, it would have been by Corrine Super since Doug pulled the same move on her in October and then hid him away for the longest time. Since it's just the beginning of the breeding season, I think the address just became known to Corinne and now she wanted the stallion back.

Someone give me some semen! If you stole him and plan to spitefully geld him, that's fine, but I would like a couple doses first! Frozen preferred, fresh is you can actually get it to me on time!

We already demanded frozen after the last mix-up. They claimed they had none available. I KNOW there is frozen semen, however, I think Corrine still has it. And being that she dropped off the face of the Earth, I'm not sure how I would get it.

Sorry-- that will have to be done via PM. It is so not appropriate for the open forum.
