WOW! That really does take the cake! That poor boy...any idea who took him and where (I can guess). Maybe Yeager this year is for the best...next year maybe things will be straightened out with Capone by then.

If this IS some sort of internal dispute, which I imagine it is, shouldn't you be entitled to not only your stud fee, but your mare care refunded? You PAID to have your mare bred to THAT STALLION. You signed the contract. You did not pay for your mare's care to breed to another stallion. If they would have sold him mid-season, surely your breeding would stand... so if he isn't dead, someone owes you a breeding or a refund that is all inclusive, IMO. I would be royally ticked.

Suzie's contract with Capone was with another "SO;" he was leased out to a lady named Corrine who disappeared, so the REAL SO is being nice and "honoring" Corrine's contract. I don't think there is any way she'll be able to get it refunded.
