PeggySue, I just thought of another thing. Remember how i said to push on the ear? Does your horse neck rein and leg yield reeeally well? If so, literally take your hand and point that hand on the cow's ear and if your horse is broke to neck rein well, he/she'll go right where you are pointing at that cows ear. Also use your legs to control most of the side to side movement (while driving the cattle) so you don't get over zealous with the reins and yank them way over the neck causing confusion and tightening the left rein when ya want to go right.

Clear as mud?
