It is the young people and minority's who came out in droves to vote for change. Very well said.

Obama is a family man, true to his beliefs and values from the beginning. Your "fear" of him is irrational. Disagree with his policies, his positions, whatever- but do NOT fear him. Fear is a superficial, cheap way of controlling people, and taking away their freedoms- it has been that way for most of our history.

And do not insult the young people of this country. It is OUR future- WE are the ones who will be around to live it. To devalue us is to devalue yourself- you are NO better than anyone else.

Plus, smarter people than you and me have already vetted Obama- I think you can stop worrying he is a terrorist now
Agreed 110%!!

While I would personally tend to agree, the fact of the matter is that an 18 year old's vote counts no more and no less than that of a 90 year olds vote, and vice versa. No one here is capable of swaying the future with their vote or opinion any more than your neighbor.

Yay

I am Canadian, but I was definitely rooting for Obama in any case. I'm much happier with the outcome of the US election than our own Canadian election actually...sigh.

It counts if they actually vote and vote is what the young people in this country did today.

Also wanted to say I am SO VERY PROUD our young people and minorties came out in force to vote even if they voted against me LOL

However, this is NOT the only times that has happened, just because alot of "young" people voted doesn't mean they were right, alot of young people voted for Jimmy Carter, and well, enough said ROFL

My son refused to vote and I also support him in his decision, he was not happy with either choice and I respect that, his girlfriend voted and she voted opposite of me and voted Obama, AGAIN, I respect her and her vote, when did we forget that we live in an awesome country with freedom of choice.....
