Obama Wins!

I wonder what the future will bring. I do not know if my fear stems from the ideals of Obama, or fear of change alone. While I am registered as undecided, I voted for McCain. Now, I have to wait and see what my fear is truly based on. Only time will tell. I truly hope for Obama's time in the oval office to be smooth one, and a productive one for America and her people.

I would hope and expect any losing candidate would lose gracefully, especially on broadcast television... I don't think you can gauge a persons character or abilities from the media- and that goes for any candidate.

I am so thankful that this is America... how awesome is it that each of us could voice our opinion today and our opinion was given the same weight as our peers opinion?!

She may be "young", but she is hardly uneducated about Obama, his history, and his policies and plans for the country.

Personally, I have a hard time understanding how anybody could favor McCain over Obama when you look at the actual issues and their stands on them without the garbage media BS that is thrown into the picture from both sides. I guess that's the beauty of democracy.

I was so afraid this would happen. I truely am scared, to be my age and to face this future. My heart is in my stomach with anxiety.

As an Australian, I'm interested in how this will affect us, and I'm also interested in the changes that Obama will implement.

He lost by way to many electoral votes to change the outcome and he conceded. He would not have done this if he thought the outcome would change.

CBS has it as 155 McCain, Obama 333, I would say that was a landslide win....I guess I will drink my tequila, and hope for the GOOD Change he has promised.....

Well then your promises must not be worth much

. I am well-researched and free of the fear and negativity crippling you and making you lash out at me.

Obama is a family man, true to his beliefs and values from the beginning. Your "fear" of him is irrational. Disagree with his policies, his positions, whatever- but do NOT fear him. Fear is a superficial, cheap way of controlling people, and taking away their freedoms- it has been that way for most of our history.

And do not insult the young people of this country. It is OUR future- WE are the ones who will be around to live it. To devalue us is to devalue yourself- you are NO better than anyone else.

Plus, smarter people than you and me have already vetted Obama- I think you can stop worrying he is a terrorist now

I 100% AGREE on everything you said, I believe there is good and bad in both of them like ALL of us, we are only human after all and NONE of us are perfect

How blessed I feel to live in my country and I WILL support Obama and I DO wish him well even if I didn't vote for him, in the end, the ONLY thing that matters to me is security,safety and stability for my childrens future, if he can bring it great, if not, 2012 will be another shot at "change" lol

To me.......neither know how to run a country..........I am weary of what our future holds
