Question Nutrena LightBalance

http://www.nutrenaworld.com/Screens/...?ProductID=173

How does this product look?

I'm looking into it for my mini. I was given a free sample (1lb) from a booth the other day.

The amount needed per day is really appealing.

This is what Mars is on (Born to Win) http://horse.purinamills.com/products/born_to_win.asp

If I can find a Nutrena dealer near by I may switch over if BalanceLight is good...and I've always heard better things about Nutrena.

I have been selling nutrena feed at my work for over a year now. I have also been useing their Safe Choice for the same amount of time. I am really impressed with their products. I hope you can find a dealer near you. Nutrena really sells a good product and stand by it.

Just curious. How much do your Nutrena feeds range? Lowest to highest (I don't care about which grains are what, just want price range for the brand).

If you can't find nutrina, try and look for Platform, them also make a mini/pony feed, that I am giving Mikey, he only gets 1/4 lb twice a day, cause he is not doing any work....at least I know he's getting some vitamins and minerals, and such...the nutrina looks like great stuff too...Cathy

I pay 15 bucks for a 50 lb bag of platform mini feed, but figure out, it will last him almost 100 days, not bad...Cathy

Our price range at work is from $12.99 to $19.99 for the pelletted feed and from $6.99 to $10.69 for the textured feeds.

The Nutrenta LiteBalance is similar, but better formulated than the BtW. If you can't get Platform or the Nutrena (also formulated for mini feeding)...there is also Triple Crown Lite...similar to the Nutrena.

Around here Lite Balance is 12.5 a bag. I fed several of my horses this product and really liked it. They are now on TC Lite due to Nutrena's availability being non exsistent.

Just wondering. Why is Nutrena not available in your area?
