This was tested twice for sugar as Dairy One did not believe the results of the sugar. 11-21-06 (Melanie)

Is the sugar from the beet pulp or from the molassas they coat it with?

OK, I just saw the PLAIN label

I question their quality control, I would find chunks of rubber (and molasses) in about every sixth bag.

It's not marketed as a 'high quality' feed though. So I guess it doesn't suprise me as much.

Some of the Blue Seal feeds are higher than either, approaching almost 50% NSC. That means that 1/2 of the feed by weight is sugar or starch.
