Are you talking about brand name feeds/commercial grain mixes? If so, then no it doesn't have that on there.

But for instance, look up alfalfa on there and compare it to the site you posted or timothy hay. Same with the other site I posted, and most any other one that you will be able to find. Your's is the one that doesn't match.

The Equi-Analytical site is number of raw materials - oats, corn, barley, other grains, 2 types of forage, various (but not all) hays. The info is based on their raw state, that's what Peggy is saying.

If you look at the Forage for the total time period - '00-'07 - you see it averages out to 13% NSC, with a range of 6-20. The NSC for '06-07 was 14%, with a range of 4-23%.

This only coincides with the HUGE variety one can get, particularly in hays and grasses, based on where it's grown, when it's cut, what the weather was like in the couple of days leading up to cutting, if it got rained on, etc.

Question:
Who is the most accurate on the testings of the TC feed? *ducks and covers* However trying to catch up on these threads has gotten me confused and lost. Yikes!

Hey we need this up there with the Ration Balancer thread that Imacowgirl did. Is there anything on Orchard and Coastal grass hays as well? Thanks I was trying to figure out the NSC on TC 30% and compare some others and on some grass hays as well.
