| Senior Member+ | now 3 days over due
Sugar was due to foal on Friday. Still no baby. She keeps ******** out my husband. As some of you know he just came home a wek ago from open heart surgery and he is suposed to walk four or five times a day. He has decided that walking to the barn and checking on Sugar is his new mode of excercise. She is laying down 9 out of 10 times doing that grunting noise as she breathes. My husband swears she is in labor every time. I assured him that she is just VERY uncofortable and it takes a lot out her her to lay down and breathe. I sure haven't seen her lay down this much. Her poor back legs are getting a little stocked up and I am walking her a couple of times day. We tried to put her out in the pasture but she just stands in one spot or lays down and doesn't move around. No wax, but with her that doesn't mean much. With one foal she waxed with the other none, so who knows. I'll keep you all updated. Does anyone what to guess color???? This is a picture of her and Ace when he was born. Same stallion this time. A bay with blanket. The other is her first foal a palomino from a differn't sire. What do you think this one will be?????

A lot of mare are going over this year. As of right now, with 500+ mares counted for the average due date is 354 days. The normal is 333 days. She is a pretty girl and throws pretty babies too. Cant wait for pics of this foal. ***We demand pics** Jessie |

Still no foal. She is getting very stocked up. No wax. just very uncofortable. She barely wants to walk. I feel so bad for her. Now we are 5 days over. It is supposed to be around 80*F today. I hope it comes soon so she doesnt have to bear pregnancy (or labor) in hot weather.
