I definitely do not get bored riding him, or doing anything around him. He bit me yesterday when I was taking off his cover, and he's smart enough to bite, then dive out of the way so you can't smack him

The fail possibly felt more fail than it looked. After three strides out I had a big "Oh **** we're going to meet this wrong..."

Ah, there should be more Tally-goes-to-a-show stories, hopefully less dramatic than the last one, during November. He then gets a month off over December as I'm going to Europe, then back into work for Jan/Feb.

Fail or not, I still love him! Where are the cows that are usually in the background? I miss them!

They were all down the back of the farm, I assume. They're a lovely herd though. I haven't been hacking through there in a while as Tally went absolutely beserk last time and began cantering on the spot

Uh yeah, our signals got crossed. I wanted three short and a pop. Tally took over and went for two long and jumping like he was heading into the Grand National. He managed to look stylish. I looked idiotic

He's discovered a new fun game too. I don't know if anyone but Aussies/Kiwis will understand what I mean by ghosting, but Tally has taken to ghosting me across the paddock. He walks with his nose just about on my back, and his feet going either side of mine
