Only moxidectin or the 5xfenbendazole reaches the encysted stages, and kills only about 25% of them.

Cyathostomins are small strongyles and are the ones most likely to build up resistance due to their ability to stay in arrested development for several years, therefor getting to "feel" the dewormers a lot without being killed off.

We have some REALLY got and interested parasitologists here in Sweden, also very nice to talk to and answers patiently all my questions.

Well I am glad to see that you all carried on without me... LOL I got a little distracted with our new baby that was born yesterday so I haven't been on here a lot. Jordan is still gaining weight and he's healing really well. He is out in pasture and running around with the pony. Soooo... I will pry give him another week or so and then start that light work that I was planning before he thought he needed to beat up the other horse through the fence. He pry told his buddies you should have seen the other guy...er... fence.
