you could get a group of you to clean stalls/the barn. thats what i do on tuesdays and thursedays. there is 3-4 of us. we clean both barns (big barn has 10 stalls the small barn has 7 stalls and the lean two has 3 stalls) and we get grain ready for the next day, take down water buckets, sweep, blow down the asile ways, sometimes clean corells and water troffs. and i think some other stuff but i cant think of it right now...lol

hope this helps!

If you can turn all of the horses out at once that helps a ton. 2x a week I help with 8 stalls and it takes almost 2hrs. That is just c/b we get distracted. I once got 8 done in an hour and a half. I had to take each horse out and bring them in. They were in an arena. Just crank the tunes and go to town. I find if I set mini goals it will get done faster. If you have 2 horses that go out together then try to get both stalls done in like 10 min or whatever time frame is reasonable for you. You will find you will work faster without trying much harder.

Another thing, shavings really decrease the time spent cleaning stalls. I'd spend three times longer in a stall with straw than in a stall with shavings...

We have 35 horses right now and we clean stalls every day. It usually takes two of us two hours. Most of the horses are turned out during that time.
