Not convinced she is preg. Oh well.

Sass is a welsh type mare of 12.2hh & in foal to a 32.5" Mini Horse stallion, the last contact they had was 5th March '06.

Others have said, yer she's preg, just not showing "as norm" due to foal size.
We didnt scan her.... i "think" i can feel the foal, but not convinced. Nor has she got a bag, 1 teat is larger than the other & shes a maiden mare.

Oh well..... life shall go on, lol & thats why we scan now to be sure, but she only returned home 2 wks ago after being paddocked with a mare, now she's in close area to a stallion but hasnt returned..... as i said, life goes on, lol.

Heres some pics anyway, hopefully she suprises us, if not, such is life.

I'm no expert but I'd say she looks pregnant to me. I am curious as to why one teat would be bigger than the other if she wasn't.

She never had teats before (well she did but they were well hidden, lol).

Just not convinced but you never know, someone mentioned phantom pregnancy & i dont want to scan her at this time, if she's near, dont want to risk anything.

Heres hoping though.

It is hard to tell from the pictures. She looks alittle big but I not real big. I would have the vet out and palpate her. If she was last bred March 5th this is about the time she would foal. but anything could have happened. The foal could be dead inside her and for some reason she isn't passing it. If it was me I would spend the couple hundred or less dollars to know for sure.

Our pony, she is welsh/haflinger/arabian(who know what else lol) Ours is over wieght and looks like she could be pregnant. shes only been in with mares. but i am no expert so she could be pregnant, or maybe just fat. Anyways good luck

It would be worth your while to get her checked out by a vet. If she is pregnant, you need to know.
