You know, I really really like old horses. Senor is in his 20's, he is my first ever horse, he is teaching me soooooooo much in his gentle patient way.
You really are doing a super job with your "old" guy. What and how much do you feed?

Except for the horrible years he spent with my "friends" in a lease/care situation. I feel soooo guilty about not checking on him more often, but I trusted these people, these FRIENDS, to love him and take care of him like I would.

Csaiz-His diet consists of nothing but John Lyons Senior pellets. He goes through a 50lb bag every 4-5 days. He is also on pasture all day, but it is more for his amusement than nutrition. We find little golf ball sized wads of grass all over the place. Apparently the other two horses with him don't like ABC grass.

I guess you can't blame him for wanting to show it off seeing how this is what it looked like when I got him back.

I actually took this pic at their property before leaving with him.

I Love the pics, you & he have had such a long beautiful journey together. Dont forget that bond is likely why he recovered as he did, be proud, there is plenty of reason!
