Laying down at the moment. She's been SOOOOOOOO uncomfortable today it seems. She's been pacing, circling, shifting, biting at her tummy etc!!! *prays for good birth* |

Her milk test says birth is very soon!

Good good!! I usually just goes by looks and how they are acting. I"m pretty good at guessing but other times there are some tricky mares that get the best of you!! My tobiano DARK bay mare foaled last year on 4/20/07 I check her in the morning and afternoon. She showed absolutely NO signs of foaling. She was a rescue type mare...she was 2 year old having a baby at the age of a coming 3 year old  But anyways...I went to work and someone called me and joked around with me Dancer was foaling and or had her foal already....of course it was just a cruel joke intended but I guess Dancer over heard them because when I got back abeautiful overo grulla filly was prancing at momma's side. |

I've been watching her for the better part of the afternoon... it was ALL i could do to leave to go to the gym for 2 hours... I'm so glad I didn't miss it - things look like they're rolling right along now!
