Use ginger for upset stomachs/motion sickness (humans and dogs).

Use stainless steel to remove onion/garlic odor. Lemon also works.

Use 3% peroxide to remove tomato/grape stains from white clothing.

Put rice in the salt shaker to prevent clumping.

Use powdered laundry detergent to deal with garbage can odors (especially crab and shrimp)

Freeze spices in ice cube trays to form "spice cubes"

Use salt and aluminum foil to remove tarnish from silver. (take a ceramic baking pan, line with aluminum foil, add 2 tablespoons of salt and add the silver. Leave the silver in there for 3-4 minutes and rinse clean)

Use salt to scrub greasy saucepans.

On top of exfoliating to ward of in grow hairs, swab the shaved area daily with Hyrogen peroxide. It keeps you from getting razor burn too

OK! Quit laughing!!
I am not laughing, I have used hemoroid gel for years as a eye cream to shrink wrinkle. This was one of Sophia Lorens best kept secrets. She said why spend hundreds of dollar when I can get the same thing in a 3.00 tube of preparation H

I got one for you.... Use it on zits, burns, bug bites, rashes, sun burn, cuts, toe nail infection, cold sores, ringworm .... Tea Tree Oil.. works wonders.

I have personally used it on zits, bug bites, rashes, and ringworm and it was worked for all of them.

P.S. I use it on my horse and dog too.. Got rid of those little icky bumps in my horse's ears.

Wow what an old yet informative thread! However after reading all of them I can't remember any of mine. I will have to come back later with some.

Has anyone ever tried the Penny in the bag of water trick to keep flies out of your house or barn?
