When you have a pan with baked on whatevers fill the pan with water and place a used dryer sheet in the water, let it soak over night and in the morning the baked on junk will rinse off. This concept also works to clean metal if you place dingy metal in a clean pan with water and a used dryer sheet. |

for zits use a plain old toothpate (no gel, whitener etc) clean the face really well and apply a glob of it before bed,let dry and go to sleep. I don't know what it is in it but it works more times than not to reduce them fast |

To get gooey stuff out of hair (i.e gum, candy, pop, juisce etc) use butter, margarine, or peanute butter. Rub in- it breaks it down, and then just rinse out, then wash) To remove burrs, use canola or olive oil, mixed with a little bit of flour- they slide right out! If you have an infection- like an ingrown toe nail, an infected sore etc soak a small piece of white bread in milk, place on infected area and bandage overnight. Do this for a few nights. It acts as a poultice and helps heal faster! If you spill chocolate sauce or something else choclatey- dont rub! Immediatley place garment in WARM water (hot will melt it into the fabric fibres, cold will set it) soak a few mins, then lightly work out of fabric- works every time! If you have a mosquito bite, put deoderant on it while its fairly new, ond NOT scratched open. (not spray-on or gel type) It wont itch! with cast-iron fry pans, use oild and rub in, put in oven at about 400 degrees, for awhile to season it. Seasoning will last about 30 cookings, after that, wash well with soap and re-season. while still seasoned DO NOT USE SOAP TO CLEAN. just use hot water. thats all I have for now... GREAT IDEA, AND GREAT TIPS EVERYONE!

Hmmm....guess I need to buy a pumace stone or some scrub! But that's a lot of exfoliating! I get them really bad on the back of my legs from sitting and riding horses. Here's a handy trick. Throw on some chapstick or vasoline and then dap some eyeshadow or blush over the top of it for endless lip color possibilities! Go to the sporting goods section in walmart and buy a Windchester Multi-tool. Only about $20 and just as good as any namebrand. I lost my $70 Leatherman so I needed a replacement. I actually like the cheaper one better and it has more attachements! It's like a swiss army knife/pliers/wire cutters/screw driver set in one!! Every horseman/woman needs one! Throw in some duct tape and balers twine and you could build a castle!!

Here...something for the guys: One of my friend's boyfriend uses diaper rash ointment when he gets...uh...heat rash? under/around (not sure) his man baggage. lol When weight lifting...you get more benefit from slow resistance to lowering the weight than when you life it. For ex...when bench pressing, push the weight up off your chest kind of quickly then lower it back down twice as slowly. You'll build muscle faster this way. This is for everyone: when you are in a relationship it is important to remember this fact...more is expected of you than you feel should be. Take a married couple for example. The wife cooks, cleans, takes care of the kids, etc...but doesn't feel appreciated for it. The husband works, fixes things around the house, pays the bills (hypothetical situation...women work too) but doesn't feel appreciated for it. Many fights errupt b/c of this. You know why? Because it is expected of the wife to cook, clean, and take care of the children while it is expected of the man to work, fix things, and pay the bills. In order to be appreciated you must go beyond what is expected. So...next time you think that he/she doesn't appreciate what I do, sit back and think "Do I appreciate what he/she does?" If you think you deserve recognition for what you do then tell your significant other, but be prepared to regognize what they do. Otherwise, start doing extra special stuff beyond the expected. If they don't recognize that then you have the right to get a little upset...but I've learned that with most men they are absent minded and either don't realize you are doing it or forget to mention they noticed so you have to point it out. There we go...another one for guys: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR WOMAN DOES!! Noticing simple things will earn you major bonus points!
