Niki seems fine now with her filly...s0me times they are still having contractions to expell the after birth...I am sure that the owner's will watch and give the foal the much need colestermum (sp?) that is needed!

I saw the baby nursing earlier.

And as to leaving the baby alone it is very cold where they are right now. The baby could have gotten very sick because of the cold if they had not towelle d her off.
