Nice Looking Gelding =)

Ok, so I know you guys are probably getting sick of me posting horses.

BUT, I found this one, and I felt compelled to post.

I think he looks like a definite prospect - HOWEVER, the farm he's at has some policies: i.e. - 1. NO trials, and 2. The vet HAS to vet the horse out at their farm.

One possible problem:

the place is 3 hours away.

Oh well, I can dream!!

I prob. won't buy a horse now for another 2 months or so, because Christina's mom has a horse that I have been riding(Sassy) who is Precious' mom. She is older, but man, she has SO much life to her, and I've probably learned more in 3 times riding her than I have on Bill in one month!

But this horse seems really nice.(The one I was talking about before Sassy)

No critiques needed - just wanted to post! Any opinions are welcome, though. ( I hope this is in the right section!)

Thanks!

-Aimee

I wouldn't pay $10,000 unless the horse really jumped out at me.I just thought he was nice looking & seemed like a nice horse.
I wasn't too crazy about the fourth picture down, though(he doesn't look that rounded in it - or it could just be me), on the site with more pictures- but then the one right after it seemed a lot better.

Also, a horse I know of is priced at $20,000, but yet I had to work on getting him over ground poles & he liked to duck and refuse 2 ft verticals - sometimes, prices are SO wacky.

Frankly, unless there is something that you feel is really special about this one, I think you could do better in that price range. Sounds like a good jumper though.
