NFQHA Question?

I was wondering how do you know if your horse is eligabale for the NFQHA? I know that they have to have a certain percentage I just don't understand how it works.

I have a horse registered with them. If I remember right, you send the AQHA papers to them along with the registration request form. They will do the work for you. If you horse is 80% of more, it will be registered. I do not know the price, I had mine done years ago, but you do get a lovely 33 generation pedigree! Hope this helps. I do not understand their percentage formula either.

From my calculations...which are pretty rough...your mare is approximately 85% as far as NFQHA will be concerned and should definitely qualify for registration with NFQHA.

If your horse says no, you either asked the wrong question...or asked the question wrong.

Well IMHO nothing... they will not take a horse that has too much white or is a DD or Impressive bred and NN... so what benefit is it if one of your foals has too much white or a DD offspring?

Whats DD and how much white is too much.
And no we don't use her for cutting we've thought about doing cutting on her but training is soo expensive were thinking of getting her into some reining and doing some wp on her.
