NewChickies :D

Ive never paid so much for little chickies... but hopefully they are both Hens

Here is Reece

And here is Holly, who may be renamed Birdy (she loves to perch on your hand or sit on your shoulder)

They are Cuckoo Marans, and if they are Hens they will lay dark dark brown eggs

I don't think I've heard of Cuckoo Marans before are they a older breed? I would love to see pics when they mature, the dark brown eggs to.

Nice looking flock of chickens I like that the roosters seem to be lighter than the hens. Those are really dark brown eggs. Thanks for sharing the pics. Its fun to see and learn different things.

My Neighbor has like 15 of those and gives us eggs all the time, it's awesome! I hope they are both hens, they are pretty chickens for sure

Aww I wanted to get chicks this year, but I need a secure coop to keep them in, as my dog will just "play" with them till they are dead

Awww! I love them when they're little, when they get big I don't care for them. Hope they're hens or fillies

I have a pair of Cukoo Marans they are neat birds. My Rooster is the meanest one on the place though. We are currently breeding Cukoo Silkies and Frizzles. They are really neat.

Did you get yours from a breeder or a hatchery?
