Did you get yours from a breeder or a hatchery?

We bought them from a Garden Center that also sells feathered creatures

How cute! I just got 14 of them! My dad found them under his house with no hen in sight. We think they are bantams, or bantam crosses, all sorts of interesting colors and all born either yellow or black. Can't wait to see what they look like as adults.

Don't be surprised is your eggs aren't just plain brown. Mine hens are. My friend got on a waiting list for a top breeders' eggs and she has chicks from them and her eggs are AMAZING they are so DARK. I'll ask her to get a pic for me.

Even if they lay regular brown, thats ok too
We actually have some hens that lay really neat brown eggs, not chocolate brown but dark pink brown!

These chicks orginally came from McMurrey Hatchery, but were brought up a few weeks ago.

That's where my Cukoos came from also. Let me see if I have pics of them. I have some of the neat pink/brown eggs too!

Here's the rooster last year when he was still growing up. I'll have to see if I can find some better pics.

Yes. I have a Barred Rooster but no hens. Which is REALLY weird because I just e-mailed a lady about buying some Barred Hens!! Coincidental eh?

I have pics of the barred. His name is Speck. He's a big Baby!
