Ok so fairly new to showing, I have papers for my Arabian Warmblood and all but i no he will never place in the led sections as he has a scar on his back leg but was told it wouldnt really matter in ridden.

SO questions...
Im 18 years old, Should i use a stock or is it fine for me to use a tie?

Is my dressage saddle(as long as its clean and oiled) fine to use?

What sort of products should i have or do i need? ie pro plaits, make up?

How do i shine up his eyes, as baby oil doesnt seem to work for me?

Can i use a hanoverian bridle or should it be a Caverson?

For hack things can he have rosettes or should he have something else?

For Arabian parts should his mane be out?


Any tips you could offer would be muchly appreciated!

A tie is suitable. A full windsor knot looks better than a half windsor.

Yep

What sort of products should i have or do i need? ie pro plaits, make up?

Minimal makeup. Champion Tails bring out a reasonable product but its hard to get the right colour mix if your horse isn't in their spectrum. Pro plaits is invaluable for making them stay in. I swear by it. Sewing in rosettes looks more professional but takes a lot of time. If you're just starting out I'd use lacky bands for the time being.

Alto Lite. Its kina like vaseline but not as greasy. Only a little rubbed around the eyes is necessary.

Can i use a hanoverian bridle or should it be a Caverson?

You can use a Hannoverian but for me personally Cavesson is better. Some classes are Cavesson only (as well as snaffle bit only)

For hack things can he have rosettes or should he have something else?

Rosettes are preferred.

For Arabian parts should his mane be out?

I'm not sure on this but most Part Arab shows I've seen have had them plaited.
