New Years was a blast!!

Brad got bucked off a bull that was duck soup, he was pretty disapointed. He would have for sure made it back to the short go on it. Oh well.

Brad's brother was bull fighting, so that was a lot of fun. He usually does PBR's up here but got hired onto this WPB event for some extra cash. Plus it's fun when he fights and Brad rides I sat with his girlfriend and her family (they all came out to watch Craig and Brad LOL!!!).

The big group of guys that Brad and Craig hang out with and rodeo with were there so that was fun! I got *really* drunk It was awful LOL I usually only have 2 or 3 drinks, but I totally lost count.

Anyways I didn't do anything dumb or anything, but soon after New Years I stood up from the table to go dance and my feet weren't co-operating. So I got to Brad to take me back to the hotel before I did anything dumb LOL He had to half carry me to the taxi and then held my hair back for me all night in the bath room We shared a room with 2 of his bull rider buddies and they got quite a kick out of it. I don't think I will hear the end of it very soon!!

We all went out for breakfast the next morning and I didn't eat a thing. I tried to drink some chocolate milk (BAD move) but Brad had to finish it for me. Now I remember why I give myself that 3 drink rule.

No pics from the cabaret. My friend who is a photographer was there as well, but no real good ones of Brad. Cool one of Craig though, he's the one not dressed as a clown, kneeling behind the bull.


Brad's ride. Craig is the bull fighter in the red there. The bull just beat Brad around the corner. He should have rode it but oh well.

sounds like you had a ton of fun. it was crazy here. i was in washington and asked my hubby if they had a big turn out yesturday at the team roping. pot was 2000 a team. my friends were expecting 100 teams since the pot was big. well james said they were 649!!!!!!!!! they didn't finish the first round until 5:30. he gave up and went home. my other friends who run a cattle business, her hubby was in the final round and didn't get home till well after midnight.

Sounds like you had a great time! One of my life goals is to ride a bull, which my mother is totally against LOL.

missy > Wow that's a big turn out!! 649 teams!!! How did your hubby do? Win any of that big pot? They only take 30 guys in to the bull riding, but 64 guys entered. Brad got in though so that was good. There was $5,000 added and fees were $155, $150 went into the pot so the pay out was pretty good.

hubby gave up after the first round. the horses were getting fussy waiting all that time. he kept have to jog them around to keep them fresh. it took about three hours plus per round. james wants to do bulls. jade rides steer. she loves it. besides she says sheep stink.lol.

LOL Sheep do stink!! My brother rode steers from age 9-15. They have it at the pro rodeos up here and he went to all the big ones, even the Calgary Stampede twice! It's really cool for kids. I got on a few steers at the local amature rodeos but decided barrel racing was for me

I got a good chuckle about Brad holding your hair. I bet you do have a hard time living that down. Brad is to versatile. Get on the bulls then later holds your hair back.
I did not know Brad's brother was a bull fighter.

Are you getting anxious for the barrels to begin again? Seeing everyone else competing and you in the stands must be getting old.
