JR- HELP LOL Hannah- I have no idea how to describe it LOL The tree or body of the saddle sits on the horse like any other saddle. The difference is that the seat is elevated off the tree of the saddle, does that make any sense?? LOL Probably not! Let me see if I can find info on it on their website for you.

Oh, I see! *nods head looking around nervously* I can't say I do know what you are talking about!! LOL. Sorry, I'm sure you're doing a great job of explaining, it's my end of the connection that's going sour!!

Hannah- thats a link to their site with more info, you can also go to www.saddleupshop.com and read about them. He bought style #138 I think and I'm getting #159. They call their tree the equi-balance tree I think but goofy me can't find the right words to describe it! I hollered for JR because him and his wife ride in Tuckers trail saddles and I figured he could explain WAY better than me!

Crazi- his saddle new is $795, the one I want is $1100 or $1200, I can't remember which LOL So you are right, most of the time they are expensive but they are high quality and very comfy, almost sinfully so LOL

I like the feel of the trooper saddle, but I like something a little easier to find to grab in case of an emergency. They have an option of extra gel in the seat for the folks that have back trouble. If I ever buy another one, I'll pay the $100-$125 extra since I had that porblem with my back back in October. I bought the Tucker 4 years ago and haven't see a saddle I'd rather have since. They are a bit pricey, but I think they are worth it. Mine will last longer than I will live to ride.

JR- thats basically what I said too LOL Although the one I'm getting has no horn but it does have a nifty little opening/spot to grab "just in case"

I'm going to try this one out on my horse because it has the same size tree I think I need for my horse. It'll be a simple free way to test the tucker tree on mine

Personally I like the Tuckers for comfort and they have a real nice look about them too. Mines a tad bit over $1100 dollars but if it lasts a lifetime and comfy for both me and my horse then it's worth every penny LOL

I love those military hooded stirrups too, thats what mine will have.
