new trick

Im teaching my dog a new trick. I ment to teach him this a few months ago but i forgot. started today when Shane was getting them to do tricks, and he did that and shane started to reprimand and i sai 'no get him to learn it, Ive been meaning to for awhile!" well here it is.

The command is Sit Up
The Sit is the prequisit command and The emphasis is on Up

awe!...
we call it 'sit pretty'.. now all I ahve to do with our old female (a BC cross) is have my hand palm up, use my index finger and move it up and down.. she will sit pretty.

some other good ones I taught my dog (a male BC cross) is the ol 'play dead' but I just use my hand like a gun and say 'bang bang' and her drops down, and rolls over onto his back with his paws up in the air! It really wasnt that difficult to teach!
also, he wil stand all the way up on his back legs, and hop along the ground.. I taught him first how to stnd up, using a similiar method to teaching sit pretty, only higher.. then walked along, and said' hup, hup' he caught on pretty quick,
The ofcourse the basic high five, give me ten (high five with both paws), speak, paw/shake, bow, etc

Up Up (hop on the bed)
Down (laydown) via voice command and a no voice command
Crawl via voice command and no voice command
now Sit Up
Stand on the hind legs
Hop on the hind legs
