New Stallion At Avalon Equine - Baatesh - 2007 Thoroughbred Stallion

We have been keeping this under our hat for a bit while we finalized details. We are exicited to announce that we will be standing the Thoroughbred stallion, Baatesh for the 2014 breeding season at our facility! He is one of only a handful of Thoroughbred stallions that has actually completed a stallion performance test - he went through in 2012 .

For more information about him, you can check him out here on our website at Avalon Equine - Baatesh, 2007 Thoroughbred Stallion.

And just for fun, here are a few photos of the boy!

It's always nice to see a TB stallion with decent history on the track (finished in the money 11 out of 20 times) and who has gone on to be sound and successful in his second career. The fact that he is easy on the eyes doesn't hurt ether.

ER, are you going to be campaigning this one too? Is he actively competing?

We will be managing him for breeding this year. I think the verdict is out on whether or not his owners have plans to compete him. I would like to see him out there, but I'm not the one that has to pay the bills and right now? With Dracula, Edward and Belafonte out there competing, I'm just FINE not picking up any more bills !

^heh, don't blame you there. Three out competing is plenty! It is also nice that he has a decent history from the track...speaks to his soundness with a demanding career, and then to go complete the 70-day test.

Now THAT is a TB stallion! What a great addition to the breeding world. I hope he does well.
