New Saddle! Opinions, info etc

I just got my "new to me" Tex Tan, I've been loking for a saddle for months

I sat in it for a good hour at the tack shop, and it was pretty comfy (especially in comparison to the others I tried). Hopefully it fits, though it is 100% returnable

Does anyone else have a Tex Tan? Do you like it?

Anyone have any clue what model it is? I know it is a roper, but that is about it. I haven't been able to find any others like it.

I also have the serial number. Can anyone de-code it? It is:

66-50834

Nice! Textans are great saddles. If you call textan, they should be able to give you more information based on the serial number.

I think that Tex Tans are very good saddles and I think that you will enjoy riding in it. If it sits to your satisfaction, you will like it. I guess that I might be a little bias since I am a dealer for Tex Tan but I really believe they are good saddles. Sorry that I do not recognize the particular saddle and I am not at the shop. I agree that if you pull up their site, they should be able to tell you more about it. Good luck and congrads.
