New saddle excitement!

So I've been drooling over Ludomar's spanish saddles for about 2 years now but just haven't been able to spent the money to get a new one. I've been looking for a used one but once someone has one they don't want to sell it.

As fate would have it a lady saw one of my posts from last year who was thinking about selling her saddle to trade up to a different and even more expensive style. So she emailed me. On the same day I got an email from a lady who wanted to buy one of my gowns for about the same price as the lady wants for her saddle! it's fate!

Here are some pics:

She's already agreed to let me have it on trial and take it back if it doesn't fit. She's got a spanish norman horse (Andy / Perch) who looks to be built alot like Max so we're hoping it will fit.

I'm so excited! A lady at the medieval event I went to was riding her Andy cross in one of these this past weekend; I was so envious and was talking to her about really wanting one and then this happens the next day!

Yay!

Well that's exciting. I hope it fits!! You'll hae to take some pictures of it when you get it on!

Side note - I am getting a Spanish Norman in training at the end of this month, I am so excited!! If you know of anyone looking for a really good friesian that has been trained for midevil events, let me know, we have one that needs to sell ASAP.

Awww darn it.

Just got an email from the lady and she said she wouldn't want to send me the saddle until her new one came.

She hasn't even ordered the new one yet and she said it takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Grr.
