He is doing great, as you can tell he is already halter trained, takes it willingly every time, and lead broke pretty good. My daughter leads him around. Picks up a 4 hooves for me, (almost before I ask him to,lol).

What a little lover Derby is. I keep saying Darby though, So annoying,lol.
Anyway he is eating awesome, was GREAT for the vet today, And the farrier is coming on Monday because he really needs a trim badly.

I am SOOO glad I didn't change my mind and quit the adoption proccess like I was thinking a few weeks back.

LOL....I remember that thread...and I am also very glad you brought that baby home.....I bet it feels really good to have a horse at your home again....I am so happy for you and your daughter- Enjoy Derby and every amazing moment to come.....

I am glad to see that Derby is doing so well, he is a lucky little horsey to have you and your daughter to keep him safe and happy, he will make you a great horse when he grows up, I think he is really pretty to..good luck with him and keep the pictures comming..Cathy

Aww such a handsome little guy!! I'm so so soooo glad you went ahead with the adoption!! I bet he's made a lovely addition to the family. He is just too cute!
