Okay, pictures...As usual, an overload

5/26- Before I took her home, still on the 3lbs/day rice bran..NOT flattering at all!

6/2- The day she came home, had been off the rice bran for just under a week.

Today, 7/1

Okay, I'm done I promise!

And yes I will gladly hush about her being even remotely underweight

Lol, I was wondering about that. But thought I'd sit here and scratch my head for a moment before saying anything.

I think you're just seeing a lack of toned muscle! She looks great btw! Massive improvement in overall body shape from that first photo.

I was really noticing that as well! Even her topline has improved quite a bit, as well as her hindquarters. Look at this pic...This was 5/23. BIG difference compared to today's pics!

Absolutely! Whatever you're doing is working for her in that regard. If you can swing the ranitidine, I'd try that first before messing with her diet. Then if you don't see any results with that, I'd look to switching the diet up and around.

Yep, she just looks lacking in muscle She looks great for her age/condition/etc

The round pen was fine LOL! Saving both your sanity is what roundpens are for. It's just not something she should be "working" in.

Why thank you! Can you see why I have her tail bagged, by the way? And is being coated in MTG weekly?

Great I forgot to mention that she was getting:

6 lbs alfalfa AM
6 lbs oat lunch
6 lbs orchard PM
6 lbs alfalfa PM

I think I'm going to stick with the oat for lunch, since that is the "constant" from her previous diet. If the ranitidine doesn't help, I'll eliminate the oat completely.

After talking to the trainer, we're just changing it to 12 lbs alfalfa PM. I've already talked to the barn worker and he is fine to feed her supplements AM/PM every day instead of for lunch as she is currently getting.

LOL I just felt I needed that disclaimer She really didn't end up having that many wheaties to burn anyway! Tomorrow my friend is going to ride her...The one with the CWD Depending on how she does, we may do some of those trot sets.

In those two, I can tell the biggest difference in her rump around her tailhead.
