New job maybe,cross fingers!!

OK, while napping the acute rehab director called for me! I just got off the phone with him. He wants to interview me after my shift Thursday for a Sec/Tech position!!
That is a position in the hospital where you actually have 2 roles, you are a Medical Technician and a Unit Secretary. The shift is 7A-7P 3 days a week

It's also 1.50+ an hour raise and it means NO MORE cleaning toilets

OK, so it will mean doing some other not so fun things but hey its a raise and it guarantees me more time at home with my family!

I interview at 3:30 on Thursday, PLEASE keep your fingers AND toes crossed for me,prayers definitely welcome. I can see my biggest obstacle being my current boss not approving my transfer request so in those prayers make sure you're praying for a kind heart for her to let me move up and out!

Oh my, it's good then it's bad, I could stand a bit more of the good like this

thanks guys I am so tickled! I kinda thought maybe my best friend had put a good word in for me since he said he was hearing good things and he is her boss but it wasn't her so I must be making an impression on others as well

She called me a few mins ago and said "soooo, whatcha doin after work Thurs." and started laughing. Apparently she went in to put in a good word for me so he'd look at my app. and he said too late, I already am interviewing her

So it wasn't her!

He told her I had very nice phone skills which he liked and was looking forward to meeting me!! YAY!

I'd jump up and down but it would probably make my stomach hurt LOL
