Our barn had a new filly born friday at noon    She is the most gorgeous filly I've ever seen! She is a black and white paint. Her mother was an solid black paint and her father was a paint. I think she should be named Noon Day Rain, because she was born at noon and during a thunderstorm. Sharon, the owner of the barn, is going to keep the filly, but her mother is sold.This is Indies first foal and she is a great mother She even lets us come in and pet the filly The filly even tried to canter around the stall, but she couldn't make her legs work right, lol!! I can't wait until it is nice enough out to let them out. And the filly knows us, we went into her stall and petted her so much that she neighs when we come in !!!

Aww... that filly IS very nice looking. I really love her color. Congrats, and give her an extra pet for me.

thats creapy my mare foaled at noon last year and we had severe thunder storm warnings

Yeah, the mare went into labor on thursday during the storm and stopped when the storm stopped. Then on friday when the storms started again, she had the baby!

WOW,that filly is beautiful, with LOTS of color. i don't blame the lady for keeping her. she's a doll. sheesh, i love seeing all these baby pics!!!
