The "My Best Friend" picture is NOT cute or FUNNY. It is dangerous.

i used to ride a QH gelding double, he would even let us canter. but of course i only did that when the lighter of the girls was with me. and she was shorter so we didnt hit our helmets together. LOL

and the "My Best Friend" pic is dangerous. i totally agree w/ Jumpers on that one.

I have done it (riding double) with the best horse ever. He even let me slid off of him backwards over his but...best horse ever.
You would trail one day with him and jump the next.

If your horse spooks with one person, you can fall off just as easily, as well as everything dangerous w\ horses.

wink

Nothing wrong with riding double on a horse.
If the horse is well trained and will accept the rider on the back then there is no problem.
Hey, that is how I met my husband...riding double on the back of a horse he was riding...

Some Arabian Shows used to have back-to-back bareback fun classes!

I agree Jumpers...wow..that would just be scary. Not a smart thing to teach even the most well mannered and trained horse.

i agree who would teach shorse to do that it is not cute or funny but in order to get the other pictures i had to dowload the whole page i highly doubt that someone hasn't go hurt doing that with a horse and what if tha horse spooked or anything else like walked right over you it is not a very smart thing to do
