Need Your Help Finding Registration Numbers

Okay..I need to register my foal but her sire died two weeks after her birth and his owners and I do not talk to each other. I need to find out his registration number so that I can register my foal. He was a registered thoroughbred and his sire was Spectacular Bid. The foal is out of any Appy mare and I know the owners so I can get her number. I just need to find the sire's number. Can any of you guys help??

THANX IN ADVANCE!!!!!

There is no way you can get the foal registered without the stallion's owners.

they must sign the breed certificate.

Without the owners, you are committing fraud.

Would you like help locating the owners? Or do you have their location?

Actually I went online to the Appy Horse Club and I went to the registration forms. There is one titled Hardship Registration Application. If you look at it, it doesn't need the signature of either the sire or dam's owners. Only their registration numbers.

Here, I'll post the link if it will let me...please read over it and tell me if I am wrong. Thanx

I really know nothing about registering, so not even sure why im replying.

But I *believe* in order to hardship them you need to geld/spay the horse? I thought I read that somewhere.

Listed on this page about the 10th one down, is the hardship registration application. Farther down by about 9 or 10 more, is the regular registration application.

Yep. Gelding and Spayed mares

Quote:
216. HARDSHIP REGISTRY
A. Geldings and spayed mares which do not meet pedigree requirements
or are of unknown pedigree will be accepted for registration if
they otherwise meet the requirements for Regular registration and
are not ineligible for registration as stated in HORSES NOT ELIGIBLE
FOR REGISTRATION. Hardship registration applications are
available, at no charge, through the ApHC.
