Need some help with my High school equestrian team

Hey guys, i need some help with our equine team. We don't know how to compete, representing our school. We know there are high schools in RI that compete but we can't get a hold of them. Can someone explain to me what we're supposed to do if you have any experience with this? Right now we have so many different types of riders, and a lot of the people have horses in training. So i really don't know where to start with this. any help would be appreciated.
