Need to know who to turn to for help in Whitleyville Tn Jackson County

It depends on the situation. Can you give some more detail? In the meantime you can try these folks...largest rescue in TN or give the local sheriff's dept. a call. http://www.horsehavenoftn.com/

There is a us wide rescue now involed they are here in TN - NY - AZ, They went to the sheriff's dept. last week, the Sheriff said he would go out there & if he felt there was wrong doing he would site her & she would need to go to court. He was going out there on saturday and was to call her and let her know.... never called... she spent 2 days of phone calls and nothing.

Why someone needs to get the animals out of there, My friend has bought 6 minis , yes bought, she bought them because they were all in need of care, among the six were 2 foal 4 months old & 2 months old, the 2 month old had to be on IV I have the 4 month old and one of the mares, This lady sold them because she thought they were not going to make it, Now a freind of my friends also bought 5 or 6 same thing all sick & young. They all had bad rain rot, worms one even had blood worms, no hove care, the mare I got is foundered & could only move a few steps at a time. I had her trimmed the day she came, 3 weeks ago and she can now walk the field. The mare I got also has a foal that is still there, This lady thinks she can take them from the mare at 1 month old & put them in a shed with a bucket of milk, But know one has seen that shed or what is in it. This lady does petting zoo & pony wheel for fairs, her card also says partys and that she will come to your house for rides, ( know wonder ).
There are at least 10 to 15 still there along with rabbits & pig., who know what else, these buyers were only were the minis were, Some of the mares are in foal and ready to have them soon , I know this lady is going to a exotic animal show here in Tn I think this week end and she will be selling the foals as bottle foals?????????????? She said she can get more money.

There is also one foal, ( not sure if it made it ) she had called my friend because her husband was trying to trim its hooves, well he cut a chunk off and it was bleeding, my friend told her she needed to get a vet out, this lady said a vet wont come out, & she told my friend that she super glued the piece back on. None of there horses are vetted at all, this lady also is at the sale barns buying, she needs at least 4 or 5 good ponys for her wheel.

These ponys & minis have no shelter aside from trees, they have stripped the trees of there bark, no food - water ? But she also has 1 stud in a round pen not food no water. the other stud is in with the others.

I have pics of the 2 I got in my gallery I could not reply and add them??? 2 weeks and the mare has filled in to.

Now my friend was going to keep buying them, she did go back for more & the lady wanted even more money, but after the 1st bunch she just can aford to, these little ones are sick & need care, My friend has told her she needs to do something, But this lady is not wrapped to tight and my friend did not want to make her mad, Well after my friend would not pay more for the mare ( they had a price over the phone ) she got nasty with my friend and thats when we tried to get someone to help. This was over a week ago... and Nothing... This is why we see cases on the news, untill it makes the news nothing gets done. That may be our next turn.

sorry so long, I am just upset, These people dont give a rats *** about them its all about the $$$ My 1st rescue it was the same thing & now a year leter we are haveing to put her down, They left her starve so bad it took every thing she had, With everything we have done nothing will get her pain free, so she will not gain more weight, So we will have to say good by to her, I am giving her a few days of good food with no sups in it - no nasty meds - no more eye drops - so her last few days will be stress free.

These people need to be stopped & untill the county - sheriff steps up and does what the are paid to do, it will never stop. Then when they do something... they take the animals, someone else foots the bill to try to help them, & these people get a small fine.

It just makes me sick, so any were else we can turn to aside from the news??? Let me know.

Its just bin a bad few days for me & stormy. We are paying the price for someone else wrong doing. I never thought it would have to end like this.

Ohh I also have this lady's name phone # & address, she also says on her card all colors for sale, so if some one would want to go there and buy one I would be glad to pass the info on. She will want to meat you some were, but insist you go to her house & you will see for your self.
