Okay, so I got my new (and first) cell phone a week or so ago. I'm pretty handy with it already except for one thing, my Voice Mail Box. I can get to the part of the menu where the messages are and I see that I have some messages. So, when the thing pops up, one of the options is called "listen." I press okay on that, but then all that happens is it calls my voice message box and it goes through my message, and then it beeps and all of a sudden I'm leaving myself a message again! I know at some point I'm supposedly supposed to have to dial my code which is the last four digits of my phone number. When I've tried this, either nothing happens, it says good-bye and ends the call, or it says that my number is not a recognized number. I've looked in the manual, and all it says is to once you're in the menu part, press "send" to listen to your messages. Well, all this does is call my voice mail box and have me leave a message like I described before. This thing is driving me bonkers and now I have 7 new voice messages because I keep accidentally leaving myself new messages trying to listen to them!My phone is a Verizon VX3200 by the way. If anybody could help me at all I'd be eternally grateful!!

Push the # key and interrupt your message half-way through. Then, it'll ask you for your password. Dial in the 4 digits and voila! *EDIT* Whoops - I was late. LMAO!

Thanks by the way. I'm pleased to have a cell phone of my own finally. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the message that I really wanted to hear and finally got to hear was just static becuase my friend apparently had bad reception at the time. Oh well, at least I actually know how to do it now!
