Please read the letter that I sent to my family. But unfortunately no one could help. One person suggested I post it online to see if I could get some help.




I would like to tell everyone a story, so please read this.



On April 21, 1981 there was a thoroughbred horse born they named her "Gammy's Girl" She was bay with black legs and one white spot on her forehead. She loved to run so her owner raced her a couple of times. In 1984 she was retired from racing and they just used her for breeding. She was a very good mother. Years past and she was sold to 12 different owners. The 12th owner did not care how she would end up he just wanted a baby out of her. She weak, fatigued, starved, and depressed, her back all rottened out, and infections in all four of her feet. Then the next worst thing happened she miscarried the twins that she was carrying. She started bleeding and almost died the boarding stable that she was at took the papers on her in return for the vet visit. 2 months later with her still looking the same, the boarding stable went on line and posted a free horse ad. A Woman whose always loved horses called and she was told that the horse was going to be sold to the slaughter house the next day. The woman assured the woman that she would take the horse. So the stable held on to her. Transportation was made to haul the horse from Kentucky to Illinois. When the horse arrived the woman was horrified with the way the horse looked. The horses' head dragged the ground she did not even have the strength to lift her head up. Then the driver asked if they were going to get the other horse off the truck. In total shock they said yes. After unloading the second horse, which was a baby not even a year old yet, they put the 2 horses into the barn. They only had a one-stall barn. The barn had been there garage. The next day they turned out the horses and turn the barn into a 2 stall. 2 days past the tack store across the road had a trail ride with all the horseback riders in the area. Almost all of them wanted to call the humane society on this woman for the way that the older horse looked. So the woman went to the tack store got a blanket to cover the horse. The woman had to treat the horses back with 2 special solutions daily. Had to clean out her feet and treat them with Medication to kill the infection. The woman had to give extra vitamins to help her heal faster. 2 months past and the older horse is running around with her head up and is full of life again. The woman has spent everything she had in saving this horse and has fallen in love with this horse. But then this woman suddenly has another problem. The neighbor did not want her to get the horses and has yelled at her extended family members, at a party she had for her daughter. Suddenly after 5 months someone has been hurting the horse and the only person they have a problem with is this bad neighbor. The horses' head is being cut open, by a sharp object. One time every week for the last month. A police report was made and the officer says that the neighbor is the only one with the access to the horse and the motive. The officer suggested getting security cameras and more fencing. Moving the fence away from the current fence, about 10 feet, to give the horse more protection. But the woman that spent everything to save this horse suddenly has nothing to help protect her now. She turned to her parents, brothers and sister but all of them are unable to help because of a financial problem in their life. So she is writing this letter and sending it out to the rest of the family to see if anyone else could possibly help. Yes everyone I am the person who got this horse and poured everything into her to get her better. And now he could very well end up killing her if I do not get some help to protect her. So I am e-mailing the rest of the family and asking for there help, Could any of you please help? But if anyone is willing to help it will be a gift to Gammy because I probably will never be able to pay you back. So if anyone can and will help please let me know. My aunt suggested asking for alittle from people she said that $1 from several people can help more than no one being able to help at all. and she is right. I find myself swollowing my pride alot. I love this horse and she has gone threw so much. I just need alittle help, but I do not want to lose her. Please if some of you could help or tell me who can I would appreciate it. thanks

ps. today he picked up a concrete block and threw it at he hit her legs and left marks. I filed another police report. I Now that I sound like I am begging and I am. this horse is one of a kind and she deserves alittle peace. I do not want to lose her. please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I appreciate the thoughts but if you go onto our family website you would see that this is not a scam. Thank you everyone for caring and I do understand your fears. But I am the one that is living this nightmare. This man does not care about anything all he cares about is getting my horse off of my land. Iam sorry but I will not do it. I will sit outside with a gun if I have to. but I thought I could get help other than giving her up. I do understand the fears. but I have been trying and soon I will be left with no other options.

Do you know why he hates the horse so much? Is he on your land when he hurts he? if so you could charge him with trespassing. Call an animal welfare group and see what they can do. You could set up a vidio camera to catch him in the act. Is there anywhere else she can stay. I looked at the photos and you have done an excellent job with her, she looks so much happier. What do you plan to do with the colt? Is the man hurting the colt too? or is it just grammy. You could get a portable electric fence to put up near his house.

No, please stay! You did not offend anyone and your story is very touching! You have a good soul but sadly I myself can not send you anything but I do have ideas for making money that will cost you nothing!

How bout getting the anyone and everyone who cares about you, this horse, and horses in general and hold car wash, auction on any items, and you could also get people to put donation cans around any store or bussiness that you can think off!! All this will get you some money. I know around here you can get $300 dollars from holding a car wash for like 2 days!

You can also hold trail rides and have people pay and total of $5 and any donations that they would like to make.
