Need help cleaning Elites.

I bought some Prof Choice Elites a couple weeks ago, and have only used them 5 times, been to hot to ride. But they are already really dirty.

I would like to clean them, but don't want to ruin the velcro or anything.

Can I just hose them off?

Thanks!

I have a old pair of velcro splint boots and I just put them in soapy water and then hose them off. They're velco and still in good shape.Mine aren't Elites though.

I hose mine off on a regular basis without any issues. If they are really bad you can scrub them with a stiff brush and some soap (anti-fungal if you have it) and then hose them off.

I hose mine off occasionally and throw them in the washer with mild detergent every couple of months. Just fasten the velcro down first. Actually shouldn't matter with them as the entire surface is okay to stick the velcro onto. Just be careful if you have anything else in there with them. I do all of my boots that way.

Thanks everyone!

One more question, can you dry them in the dryer or is it better to hang them to dry?

Funny how this is here, my husband left his horses boots out yesterday and I looked out the window today to see the dogs playing tug of war!! Luckily no damage, but because they are so filthy I was wondering how to clean them. Thanks!!

I hand wash in a bucket of soapy water and hose them off. I hang them on the fence to to dry while I ride.
