Question Need help buying horse stalls!!!

I am located in northern Pa, I am in the process of starting a non profit horse rescue. Last year i built my horse barn, 40 x 60. I poured the concrete floor this summer and now i am ready to put horse stalls in. I have looked online at some companies, but its hard to go and look at one. Has anyone bought any of these "stall kits" or free standing stalls? I have talked to Triton, Rocking J, Ramm and a few others. Does any one have any thoughts or like a certain company?

Thank you so much
Jennifer

We made our own from rejected lumber from lumber stores in our area for less than $30.00 each. just a thought.

Everyone I know gets the hardware from TSC and its a couple hundred bucks with the wood. The prebuilt stalls I looked at were about 1,000.

We filled our barn with horse stalls for ALOT less then we could have with a kit, carpentor needed some extra work on the side, so it all worked out..

Also if you have any mines in your area call and ask them if they have any mining belts that they need to get rid of, you can pick them up free of charge and they work great for the floor! I think they are 36" wide and come in very large rolls so you will need several men to move them - LOL.

Hey what a smart person!!!! We are also in the process of building stalls and we were wondering about stall mats. I know theres one about an hour from where I live one of the only two thats in the World. (well i mean that produces that kind of um... what do you call it a... ?rock?) So I am sure they have some. Ohh your smart thanks for that!!!!

We asked a contractor to build ours find one that will help you get everything for the lowest price. He needs some work and we need the barn so it worked out really well.

I oroginally built my stalls myself from rough cut lumber, but wanted a more professional look, so researched prebuilt stalls. I ended up with those they sell at TSC. I bought 15 stall fronts and kept the dividers as rough cut I built. It was an awesome upgrade, made the barn look great. They were very easy for 2 people to install and are holding up well.

I use the rubber belts in my aisle for Xtie mats, but do not have luck with them in stalls. They are too light and move around too much, get bedding under them. They also have no texture, so are slippery when wet or frozen.
