Exclamation Need help!!

Hi.Thank you for looking at this I need help quick!
You see,I have a 19yy 15hh Bay Qh/Tb mare that
is a sweatheart until just last weekend before I
went to put the saddle on her. When I lifted the
blanket to put it on her,she layed her ears back
and tryed to kick at me,and almost kicked my brother!

So I put the blanket on her neck and rubed and stroked
her with it to tell her that the blanket is ok and
isnt gonna hurt her(which she should already
know that),then I slide it down to her back
and she was ok with it.Then I went to put
the saddle on and then she kicked again!
So I threw the saddle on her. Before I put the
girth on I pressed aginst the saddle and
beated on it just to see If I was hurting her,
nothing,So I put my hand under the saddle and
pressed aginst her spine and rib cage, nothing.

So then I rubed my hand along
the girth line, nothing.I dont know why
she is rejecting the saddle.Nothings poking her
on the saddle.

I love her soo much! Please help me!

and check out her pics.

Thank You!

Get a saddler to check your saddle and a physio to check her back. It may not be something that is obvious and needs a professional eye. Just because the saddle isn't poking doesn't mean that it is sitting correctly and this is usually a sign of ill fitting. She may have slighly changed shape.
Has she always been ok with her saddle in the past? Has anyone else tacked up recently and been too rough?

If she's been a sweetheart for you before this and never gave you problems with accepting the saddle, then I think she's trying to tell you something and it most likely has to do with a pain issue.

Have you tried putting the saddle on her again since last weekend?

I'm looking at the photo of your seaty horse, and I'm going to assume that the photo is of her back after you have taken the saddle off - correct??

See the big Dry Patch right behind her shoulder?? That is usually a very good indication that the saddle is to small & pinching her there, which would explain the behaviour she's giving you.

Maybe take some photos of your saddle on her (with & without a pad & girth) and post them in the tack section. I'm sure there will be a few people who can help you to give you some kind of idea as to if your saddle fits or not, and if it could be the problem.
