Need field boot suggestions

Well today I was on my way to my farm and as I walked down the steps of my house, my zipper in my field boots bust now these boots are almost 4 years old and have been WELL used, and not taken care of the best (totally 100% my fault there), so I was not expecting them to last forever; I just hoped they would last a little longer than this. However, the zipper is totally shot; no hope in that department. And really, I don't think they are worth fixing; they are so beat up and worse, even the sole is beginning to come off.

So tomorrow I will be heading to the tack shop to get new ones. Anyone have any suggestions on what kind? I am 16 now and my feet/legs haven't grown in a while. I have pretty long legs, and a thinner calf. What are the best boots for my "type" of leg?

[EDIT] I am not looking to spend a fortune on a pair either, and as much as I would love it, I cannot justify getting customs. It would be my luck that I would grow after I get them. I don't do any rated stuff as of yet, and won't for a while. It is just local showing as of now. So the cheaper the better but I also want quality boots. So really, what are the cheapest yet good quality boots out there?

I have Ariats, and they're really nice because they come in so many different options. They are a little more expensive (the Challengers cost about 300?) but very good quality. I know people (like my trainer) who have had their Ariat boots for a good 10 years. My boots are really nice because they're tall and slim size, which fits me perfect!

Im about a 7.5-8 .. can also do a 8.5 if needed.

The pair i have now are ariats. I loved them, but They took me a LONG time to break in. Lots of blisters and sore ankles there! i was also told that ariat wil replace the zippers if they break for free, so i will be calling them tomorrow.

I have the Ariat Challenge, and I didn't have to break them in at all... What style do you have?

I haven't heard good things about the Ariat zippers, which is why I steered clear. I got Dublin's, I LOVE them. Hardly any break-in time, and they look really great.

I will try to check sizes tomorrow... I might have some 7.5's... I had a nice pair, and the calf was way to tight... they are practically brand new, got stuck on my leg, and my husband had to cut the one off... so one has a nice slice, of course it's on the outside... I get mad everytime I look at them!

I love my Ariats with zippers! I have the Ariat Challenge also, they were easy to break in.

Ariat Crownes would be a good choice for a tall slim leg. Try e-Bay.

Mine are the original heritage boots, from when they first got popular.

I've always heard that the Challenges are better because they have lining all the way down the boot, rather than just on bottom - makes breaking in easier and the boots more comfortable/sturdy
