Natural balence/cytek shoeing? Anyone got any opinions?

Due to my previous farrier having to retire I am trying out a new farrier. He managed to convince me to try natural balance shoeing, which in short takes the force of impact off the horses toe, and puts the balance more over the "ball" of the hoof (sorry not to good with terms lol, but if it were a human foot imagine the ball and thats were the balance is haha) It also takes pressure of the bulb of the heel. (well tahst what I understnd it to be anyway, feel free to clarify)

He also mentioned that it promotes natural wear of the toe which means the hoof stays better balanced for longer.

Sooo, anyone else ever used this method of shoeing? I figured I may as well try it and see what happens. Denz was a little sore yesterday after being shod, but that is due to a corn unfortunately so I couldnt try the new shoes out.

Anyway, jsut want to know what you all think

EDIT: Just read onother thread on cytek shoeing and they are not the same lol sorry, he has natural balance shoes not cytek shoes. Just to clarify My farrier does both and was bombarding me with information and techniques.

I've researced the NB shoeing and trimming methods a bit lately. And so far, I've liked what I've seen. The part I don't like is how difficult it is to find someone who knows how to properly apply it. (At least in this area.)

Yeah, I was referred to him by a good friend and Im hoping I like the results as he is very affordable and seemed to know alot about it. He actually explained what every single part of the hoof was for, and what each different coloured bit (EG corn) was caused by and how to help.
