my saddle...what sort is it?

Long story short a couple of years ago Mum got me tjis saddle. They sold it for $100 AU brand new. They said they couldn't sell it because it was too awful.
The stuffing is sort of lumpy.
This pic probably isn't very useful
This is it side on.
Can anyone tell (I know, it's hard because the pics aren't great) what sort of saddle this is, or how much I could sell it for?
And how would I know what size it is?

For size, measure from pommel to cantle. That will give you the size. Its a dressage saddle of sorts. It could be one of those cheap indian leather ones. Is there any writing on it? If it is Indian leather, the ink used to colour the leather will run profusely when wet and will also stain your jodhs when you're riding even if it isn't wet.

If confirmed Indian leather, you'll probably get no more than $100 for it anyway as they sell in packs fully mounted for around $250-$300.

Well I went and wet it. I sat it on the back ends of it and rubbed water into the seat (I know that's probably not wonderful for it, but that's ok) and the water just sort of sat there. I left it for a couple of mins and wiped it off with a tissue and it came back a tiny bit brown, which is probably just from dirt.
There's no writing on it.
And with the measuring, do I measure from the underneath, or straight across the top from the pommel to the cantle?
Thanks

English saddles are measured from the button just below the pommel , across to the cantle. The saddle you have pictured is a Dressage saddle. Some Mfg's will put their logos on the button up front, or under the flap.

Actually, you measure from the cantle to the screw, here's a link to a thread with a picture:
How do you measure a saddle?

If there isn't a label any where on it, then chances are it's a cheaper saddle, so you won't be able to get a whole lot for it. Especially if it needs to be restuffed, which it sounds like it does.

It is a very nice looking dressage saddle. Look under all the flaps for any stamps or plates for the saddle brand name or maker.
