My New Horse (tb gelding) Is Home pics as promised

*UPDATE* movement & no blanket pictures: My new fella shows his stuff!!! *pics*

Well, after a long day at the barn, I am back, with all the pictures I promised.

Went to the barn at 8am... Got the keys from my barn owner (was taking his truck & trailer to get my new *pony*). Truck & trailer all set. Drove and got to the farm.. He was SOOOOO good, calmer than heck, didn't walk right on, but didn't get upset and eventually just climbed in. Drove home.

OH, and my "horse" halter... adjusted to the last hole on every adjustment BARELY fit his huge head LOL OI VEI!

His old owners are seriously thinning the herd (all sisters horses and sister died... ) so they had no use for his blanket, and just let me have it (Rambo blanket, really nice)

Opened the trailer, opened the divider (3 horse slant).. and he decided he didn't want to wait for me to unhook him before he tried to escape. Anyways, hit the end of the tie and was just kinda like.. umm what the heck? I told him whoa and he just stopped and was like.. ok lady, whatever. So I unhooked him, and backed him off the trailer (WAY too big to turn around in there, i was shocked LOL).

Put him in his new area and he settled in like hes been there his whole life. Introduced him to his roomie Vicki (was gonna give him his own area but decided the 2 together would be happier). They are in love, you have NO idea. We fed them their grain at different ends of their paddock, and they both go to one bucket, take turns taking a mouthful, finish that bucket, then go to the next bucket. Its hilarious.

They share their hay. They drink together. Vicki follows him like a puppy (Shes 15.2 and is DWARFED next to him).

Anywho... without further ado, my new horse
"First Year"
He is a 4 year old 17H TB gelding (will be 5 in April) and he is put together really nice, thick legs, good hip & shoulder.

I havent decided on a barn name, you guys can help with that, I will be posting a poll soon to get opinions!!!

Congrats ont he new Addition he is such a tall handsome boy. He's also got good bloodlines ^_~. Can't wait to see more pictures of him.
