My new boy. Rescue/adoption.

This is my new boy. The owner just handed him over to me because she can't afford or handle him. He's a big 17 hand thoroughbred. A little bit crazy but after 20 minutes of playing parelli's 'yo-yo game' with him, he calmed right down.

He's the 3rd to my herd and I need to stop with the pity buys lol. He also needs a name, Any suggestions?

How about "Parelli's Game"? You can call him "yoyo" for short.

I've got no idea, the owner has it written down and is trying to find it for me -_- not sure if that will ever happen. He didn't come with a name. The lady who had him didn't name him :O Poor little boy with no name lol. We've just been calling him Homebrand but that's not a permenant type name lol

I just got a mare who is 20 yrs old, she looks a lot like your guy. She was also just given to me, the owner was trying to downsize their herd and my grandkids needed a horse or pony to ride, so here she came to live. We also took a beautiful palomino 3 yr mare from the same people, she is not broke yet, but is such a lovey horse I think she will be one of the easy ones.

He's a good looking free horse! As for a name... I like the name Degas (pronounced Day-ga). Edgar Degas is a very famous artist that loved to sculpt and draw/ sketch/ paint racehorses (i.e. TB's). He mainly did ballerinas but loved to also do jockeys and racehorses. He loved to draw/ sketch/ paint motion. Just a little background on him...
Here's some of his work:
