You can apply Shapley's MTG to it. It helps hair grow in. http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...9-1D059477370F

You can usually find MTG everywhere. Im a saddlebred girl so I have dealt with growing out roached manes haha. You'll want to bring blood up to the roots and keep the crest clean. You'll need a clean small hard brush, a bucket of warm water with a shot of baby oil. Take the brush and dunk it in the water and then give it one good shake so its not dripping wet. Now with the brush scrub the crest to remove dead skin and dirt. This will help keep it clean and speed up the growing process a bit. Apply MTG only like 1-2 a week because it can clog pores which will not allow hair to grow but if applied correctly it can help the hair grow very fast.
