My horse has white line disease and it's something you really want to get a handle on quickly, and work with your farrier to knock it down. Right now we're keeping his stall super clean and dry, treating his hooves with blu-kote twice a day and having him checked/trimmed every 5 weeks. I'm seeing some big improvement since we got him on mats with generous shavings (read: DRY environment) and hopefully the improvement will continue even if we get the seasonal mud this year. Curing it is mostly about keeping the feet *clean* and *dry* so that the fungus and bacteria can't spread. |

I'm pretty sure it is......(goes to look it up on google)......Yep. According to google anyway. The only reason I know anything about it is because our neighbor's pony got it.
