My friend's new rescue

My friend, who was looking for a horse....has found one. one that is in need. She was removed from one home, placed in another that was not ideal (need to get pics, I forgot)....

She is between 12 and 14 months. She acquired her the other night. Needs groceries, but not too bad. This morning, we found the remains of an under-developed foal about 4 - 5 months gestation. Poor widdle thing. And yes, it came from her.

My friend is so ecstatic. Knowing that she can help another life is already helping her and her family. I think even though this is a young horse, if she stays smart and follows good guidance from others, they will be great together.

Poor little thing has pneumonia too.....

Here is her little angel...

And to imagine, some idiot was riding her the other night... Double GRRRR

Michelle.....what?????????????????

That baby was pregnant, and being rode too???????? Where did she get her from? I sure hope "someone" really gave the previous owners their "what for's" in as many languages as it took to make them understand!!!!

Glad I wasn't there. You'd be bailing me out of jail!!!!!!!!!! GRRR!

What a horrible start to her life! But she's young and now has much to look forward to with your friend! Kudos to her!
Any names for the filly?

I haven't met the owner of the barn that we got her out of. Not yet anyways....

DId you know, that owning horses is "MAN's WORK"???

apparently they haven't seen the statistics of how many men vs women own horses....LOL. Last I read, women dominated the horse industry in ownership....

I couldn't help but laugh at the "man's work" comment. That's probably true tho. I always get told I work harder with these horses than any man. Which is WHY horse owners are mostly women....men don't/won't work as hard as I do....at least, not the ones I know. Go figure.......we women are ALWAYS having to do a mans job anymore. LMAO

While growing up, my mother always told me "men are only worth 2 things....a paycheck and sex". Once grown, I realized that they wasn't worth the sex, and only worth the paycheck. Now, that I'm even older, I've found out they aren't even worth the paycheck. LMAO Hmmmm.....guess men aren't worth much of anything anymore IMO. ROTFLMAO

Seriously tho....I am so glad she got that baby away from those idiots. At least it has a chance at life now. Sounds like it would of been dead very soon if left in the previous owners hands.
